50 years old male going through divorce
Hi there,
I have written this email 3 times because I just can’t seem to get the words right. I want to explain to you what you have done for me but my words never seem grand enough or strong enough to describe it. I am just going to let my heart speak.
My life will never be the same again! I will never be the same! You have given me the greatest gift and I am eternally grateful. I have always listened to every word you have said to me. In the beginning I never imagined that my life would change the way it has. After each talk we had, you gave me yet another tool to use to change my life. I thought that my life couldn’t get any better and that there were some things that would just stay part of me. Well when we had our last talk, on probably the most significant thing in my life, you handed me yet another tool to use. With a clear understanding of your words and a profound intention I put that tool to work.
I wanted to put time in before I got back to you because you know I like to make sure that I’m getting it and doing the work. I didn’t want to rush to soon and say I’m changed. Well I can actually say it now “I AM CHANGED”! I have not lived one more day in fear, worry, despair, sadness or anger. I have learned that “I AM ENOUGH”, “I AM LOVE”, and “I AM WHO I AM”. Never before have I felt my strength the way I do now. I have been able to accept what comes into my life daily and not create and keep a story about it. It has not been a cake walk every day but my intention is not to stay in those moments and just move on. I am doing that.
I know I am in my infancy with these changes and I will be tested continually and will fall down again. I also know there is not a thing that can knock me down and keep me there. I will stand up as I always have before but each time I will stand up stronger and quicker than ever before.
I know our paths did not cross by chance. You were sent to me to do your work and I was sent to you to learn to heal. My world is not the same, I see it with renewed eyes, with a renewed heart. I am so happy and grateful because I have everything I could ever need in my life.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! From the deepest part of my heart, I love you. You are an angel on this earth and you are here to help people heal. You are a gift to this world!

I should start by telling you a little about myself. I, like so many others had been dealing with past trauma and fears for the majority of my life. These issues had affected my confidence, friendships, social life and my marriage. All my life, I have been a “suck it up and carry on” kind of person. I would push the demons down again and again, and pretend like I was fine. But I wasn’t fine. I was dying inside, crushed by the constant reminders of abuse and sexual trauma…and it wasn’t going away by pretending it didn’t exist.
Finally, I came to the point where I had to make changes. I had to come face to face with the past and everything that came with it. The thought of facing it all was scary as hell, but my life deserved to be whole. Most of all, I was so damned tired of hiding.
I am married to the most amazing man and our marriage was great in every way…except one…sex! Sex was almost completely missing from our life, and when it did happen, I was never really “present.” I was terrified of everything sexual and couldn’t allow myself to enjoy sex. I needed to get help in order to keep my marriage alive.
I finally decided it was time to get over my embarrassment and talk to someone. That is when I found Dr. Lori.
I was dealing with past traumas and fears that were affecting my confidence, friendships, social life and marriage. My marriage was great but sex was almost completely missing and when it did happen I was never present. My life is forever changed because of my time with Dr. Lori. I am alive, truly happy and my marriage is fantastic now with great sex!”
I met Dr. Lori through my best friend and we connected right away. It was very scary to visit some of my darker memories, but she made me feel very safe and comfortable. I could tell her things and she listened without judgment. She made everything easy to understand. She also had the most amazing tools for getting through the tough stuff. I began to see very clearly what I was going through and started making progress very quickly.
She helped me through my trauma, my body issues, and my apprehension with sex. She helped me increase my confidence and make sex more playful and fun.

I am alive and starting the life that I have always deserved and needed. I am truly happy. My marriage is fantastic. It is beyond measure what I have received through all of this, I don’t know if my words can truly express how grateful I am for her. I will hold her in my heart always. I am sincerely appreciative for everything she has done to help me reclaim my life….I am whole, perfect and complete.

I am owning it like a mo-fo! I’ve got this hungry ghost on a leash! My wife wants it again and is enjoying intimacy again! She is more playful and we are having fun again! It fuels me up!!
